We are excited to announce that as of August 10th, 2023, LHXCS is now a qualified as a CERTIFYING ORGANIZATION of the prestigious Presidential Volunteer Service Award!
What is the PVSA?
The PVSA is a result of the joint effort of the Corporation for National and Community Service, a federal agency created to expand the non-profit sector and Points of Light, the nation's largest non-profit volunteer organization.
The award aims to recognize U.S. citizens who have achieved outstanding volunteering achievement in a respective field through providing a certificate of national recognition.

How can I qualify for the PVSA?
At LHXCS, we offer a wide variety of different opportunities for our volunteers to fulfill the requirements!
The Presidential Volunteer Service Award is awarded based off of hours measured over a 1 year period of time. Depending on the age and amount of cumulative hours dedicated, an individual may receive either a bronze, silver, gold, or presidential level award. (See chart below).
We also will certify volunteer hours from other organizations if you bring official proof of your volunteering and their contact information, so even if you can't get all the hours you need with us, we can still help you get your award!
